RE: Letter of Reference for John Metzger – Ariel Ministries

I have known John for many years. He has effectively ministered in our church on a number of occasions.

The first thing that is evident in John’s life and ministry is his love for the Jewish people and his love for all lost people. He is able to uniquely communicate the gospel to Jewish people based on his understanding of Judaism, and for gentiles he is able bring together the Old and New Testaments in a way that opens up opportunities to share the gospel.

His ministry in our church has been considered one of the most effective teaching ministries we have had at the church. A particular blessing is his ability to teach in-depth through the observing of a Passover meal. Personally, I have had several Jewish leaders guide my churches through the Passover, but no one has ever done a more effective job at teaching the significance and leaving us with a challenging message. His ministry is one that our people welcome as often as possible.

I can also assure anyone who may not know him that he is committed to the Word of God and its truth absolutely. His biblical knowledge and insight is complimented by his ability communicate truth effectively. His personal integrity is of the highest standard.

He is a great asset in teaching and equipping people for sharing their faith.
