I have known John Metzger and his ministry for several years and highly recommend his ministry to all serious students of the Bible.  John has a heart for ministry to the Jewish people and this heart is demonstrated in his sound biblical teaching from both the Old and the New Testament.

We have had the pleasure of having John speak several times at our church both in a conference setting and from the pulpit during worship services.  While demonstrating a heart for the Jewish people, John’s teaching, particularly from the Old Testament is a well of refreshing to our folks.  John clearly teaches that the entire Bible is the story of the living God, as He reveals Himself from Genesis to Revelation.  His teaching enriches and challenges our people to dig deep into the Scriptures to see the Savior from beginning to end.  Our people have expressed to me that they read their Bible’s differently after having been exposed to John’s teaching.

In the process of teaching, John shares with the church many of the difficulties in witnessing to Jewish folks and offers sound teaching on how to overcome these difficulties.  While we do not have a large Jewish population in our rural area, we continue to invite John back because of the depth and soundness of his teaching, and because on the rare occasion when the opportunity to share with a Jewish person arises, we are all better equipped to do so.

I promise you this, even if you never have the opportunity to witness to a Jewish person, you and your congregation will be blessed by the depth of John’s teaching and the encouragement of your faith as he reveals the Savior from the pages of Scripture from first to last.  No doubt we will have John back in the future and we heartily commend him to any and all serious students of Scripture, and especially to those with a heart to reach the Jewish people.
